Lake is 184 miles in length, was formed by a dam on the Tennessee River and is part of the
intercontinental waterway system. Lake Barkley was formed by a dam
on the Cumberland Rivers is 118 miles in length. Check

Green Turtle Bay Marina on Barkley Lake offers 450 covered and open wet slips, dedicated slips for
transients, three stocked ships stores, gas, boat works, yacht
sales, dry stack, full-service marina. Open year round. All slip
patrons have access to city water, electricity, internet, laundry.

Lighthouse Landing Marina on Kentucky Lake offers 200 open slips for boats up to 42’ in a well-protected
harbor, boat service and maintenance, and sailboat sales. Gas and
diesel are available nearby. All slip patrons have access to city
water, electricity, internet, laundry, bathhouses with showers and a
self-service waste pump-out.

Commonwealth Yacht Club, Green Turtle Bay Resort - For

friendly group of boaters who enjoy the "water way of
life" at the Green Turtle Bay Resort in scenic Grand
Rivers, Kentucky. Our location at mile 32 on the
Cumberland River makes us easily accessible from Kentucky Lake
and the Ohio River and is a convenient stop for all boaters
transiting north and south through the region in search of
better weather. The Commonwealth Yacht Club operates out
of our beautiful club facilities at The Green Turtle Bay
resort in Grand Rivers, Kentucky.

Lake Sailing Club

KLSC is located in Grand
Rivers, Kentucky. The headquarters
is Lighthouse Landing Marina. The
sailing club provides activities of interest for all Kentucky
Lake area sailors. The yearly schedule includes four
invitational regattas, training programs, club races plus social
events from April through November.
